The Energy Efficiency Certificate from "Van Project" is a document developed in accordance with the Law "On Energy Efficiency of Buildings" by certified experts of our architectural bureau in accordance with all legal requirements.

Energy certificate - a document of a prescribed form, which indicates the indicators and class of the building's energy efficiency, provides recommendations for its improvement, formulated in accordance with the procedure established by law, as well as other information about the building and its separate parts, the energy efficiency of which has been certified.

The energy certificate reflects different energy efficiency classes - from A to G. The further we are from class A, the more energy the building will consume for heating, cooling and hot water preparation.

Energy efficiency certification

Energy efficiency certification is a type of energy audit , during which information on the actual or design characteristics of building envelopes and engineering systems is analyzed, the compliance of the calculated energy efficiency level with the established minimum requirements for the energy efficiency of buildings is assessed, and recommendations are provided to increase the energy efficiency level of buildings that take into account local climatic conditions and are technically and economically justified.

The calculations performed after data collection are regulated by current legislation and are aimed at stimulating a reduction in the use of energy resources.

The Law of Ukraine "On Energy Efficiency of Buildings" introduces mandatory certification of buildings from July 1, 2019.

The presence of an energy efficiency certificate is mandatory for:

construction objects of SS2-SS3 (new construction, reconstruction, major repairs), which, by the class of consequences (liability), belong to objects with medium (SS2) and significant (SS3) consequences, determined in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Regulation of Urban Planning Activities";

state-owned buildings with a heated area > 250 sq m , which are frequently visited by citizens and in all of which government bodies are located;

buildings with a heating area > 250 sq m, in all premises of which local government bodies are located (in the event that they carry out thermal modernization of such buildings);

buildings undergoing thermal modernization, which is supported by the state and results in achieving a building energy efficiency class not lower than the minimum requirements for building energy efficiency.

In the future, the list of construction sites subject to mandatory certification will be expanded. Already now, in the event of concluding contracts for the sale and purchase (lease, lease) of a building or premises at the request of a potential buyer (lessee, tenant), the seller (lessor, landlord) must provide information about the building's energy certificate (if energy efficiency certification is mandatory and/or carried out) or report the absence of such a certificate. In such cases, preference will be given to premises in certified buildings. Therefore, for owners, energy efficiency certification of buildings is not just a tribute to trendiness and modernity, but above all an attractive investment.
